The rules and conditions governing your use of Digrocer.

1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Digrocer mobile application ("App"), you ("User", "you") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Digrocer Limited, a company registered in Ghana under the Office of the Registrar of Companies.

By creating an account, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

We may require identity verification (including Ghana Card verification) before processing certain orders or payments. Providing false information is grounds for immediate account termination.

We reserve the right to change product prices at any time. The price you see at the time you place your order is the price you will pay.

5. Orders and Delivery

5.1 Placing an Order

When you place an order, you make an offer to purchase the listed products. We accept your offer when we confirm your order and begin processing it.

Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. Actual delivery may be affected by traffic, weather, rider availability, or other factors outside our control.

5.3 Delivery Area

Digrocer currently delivers within Greater Accra. Delivery to other regions is not currently supported.

5.4 Failed Delivery

If a delivery attempt fails because you were not available, provided an incorrect address, or did not answer calls from our rider, we will attempt re-delivery once. If the second attempt also fails, your order will be cancelled and a refund will be processed minus a ₵10 failed delivery fee.

6. Payments

6.1 Accepted Payment Methods

6.2 Payment Processing

Mobile money payments are processed through licensed Ghanaian payment providers. Digrocer does not store your payment credentials. All transactions are subject to the terms and conditions of your mobile money provider.

6.3 Failed Payments

If your mobile money payment fails, your order will not be confirmed and no money will be deducted from your account. Contact your mobile money provider if you believe money was deducted without an order confirmation.

6.4 Cash on Delivery

For Cash on Delivery orders, payment is made to the rider at the time of delivery. Please have the exact amount ready. Riders may not carry change.

7. Refunds and Returns

7.1 Eligibility

You are entitled to a refund or replacement if you received the wrong product, the product arrived damaged or spoiled, or your order was not delivered within 24 hours of the estimated delivery time.

7.2 How to Request a Refund

Contact us within 24 hours of delivery:

Include your order number and a description/photo of the issue.

7.3 Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be returned to your original payment method within 3–5 business days for MoMo payments, or issued as app credit within 24 hours if you prefer.

7.4 Non-Refundable Items

We cannot issue refunds for fresh produce where the complaint is raised more than 24 hours after delivery, products that have been consumed, or orders where the issue was caused by incorrect delivery information provided by you.

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension or termination.

9. Intellectual Property

All content in the App — including the Digrocer name, logo, design, code, text, and images — is owned by or licensed to Digrocer Limited. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the App without written permission, or use the Digrocer name or logo for any commercial purpose.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Ghanaian law, Digrocer shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, loss of profit or business interruption, or damages arising from your use or inability to use the App.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific order that gave rise to the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Digrocer Limited and its employees from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your violation of these Terms, your use of the App, or any false information you provided.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ghana. Any disputes will be resolved:

  1. First: Through good-faith negotiation — contact legal@digrocer.com
  2. Then: Mediation under the rules of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Centre, Ghana
  3. Finally: The courts of Ghana shall have exclusive jurisdiction

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes through an in-app notification and email to your registered address. Continued use of the App after notice constitutes acceptance.

14. Termination

14.1 By You

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time through Profile → Delete Account.

14.2 By Digrocer

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, abuse our staff or riders, or provide false identity information.
